Caramel Toffee Crunch Cake Recipe

Ingredients

For the Cake:

  • 1 box yellow cake mix (or butter cake mix)

  • 1 cup water

  • Β½ cup vegetable oil

  • 3 large eggs

For the Caramel Sauce:

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • Β½ cup unsalted butter

  • ΒΌ cup heavy cream

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Topping & Filling:

  • 1 Β½ cups whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream)

  • Extra toffee bits (about Β½ cup) for garnish

  • Caramel drizzle (store-bought or leftover from homemade sauce)

Instructions

1. Bake the Cake:

  • Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).

  • In a large bowl, prepare the cake mix with water, oil, and eggs according to package directions.

  • Fold in the toffee bits and nuts (if using).

  • Pour batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan or two 8-inch round cake pans.

  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  • Let cake cool completely.

2. Make the Homemade Caramel Sauce:

  • In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

  • For a sheet cake, poke small holes with a skewer and drizzle caramel sauce over the top.

  • Spread whipped topping over the cake.

4. Chill & Serve:
